Land[?] Reüter vom Königl. Leibregiment unter dem He. General-Lieutenant W[ilhelm] (Guillaume) de Jonquières, in the Herr Major von Dachenhausen Compagnie. The Leibregiment was based in Plate and led by de Jonquières from 1761 to 1803, and in 1766 gained in size by the incorporation of the Reuter-Regiment von Estorf, whereupon de Jonquières was promoted to General-Major. de Jonquières was promoted to Gerneral-Lieutenant on 3 Sep 1777. This cavalry regiment had, from 1730 to about 1769, uniforms of white with yellow lapels. It rode black horses, except those of the trumpeters, which were light brown. It served in the Battle of Wilhelmsthal (Grebenstein) on 24 June 1762 and immediately thereafter in a skirmish at the Johannisberg. von Dachenhausen served as titular Major in the Leibregiment starting 2 Dec 1762.

From 1774 to his death, he resided in Schmarsau. At his death, he was an invalid.

On 5 Jul 1778 he served as baptismal sponsor in Dannenberg for Johann Heinrich Roloff, son of Christoph Roloff, tailor in Schaffhausen.
