1711 Kirchengeschworener (church council member), 1714–1715 Bürgermeister (mayor) in Maikammer. He became a citizen of Maikammer in 1674-75 and lived at Weinstr. Süd 20. He is mentioned as a baptismal sponsor in 1699.

MAIKOFB gives two separate families Philipp Boltz (ID 548) and Philipp Bolz (ID 549) that look like they should be one family.
