Notes:
Also called the Untere Wirt. He was arrested for witchcraft, and died in custody in the Burg Neuhaus. A report dated 3 September 1618 of a post-mortem examination by Dr. med. Christoph Kniel indicated that half of Heinrich’s neck was quite blue-red, his left thigh was all black, but his torso still looked good. As the doctor knew that Heinrich was broken and that the break went back inside, he thought that the victim suffered from erysipelas (Rotlauf), an infection of the skin causing a raised blood-red rash, which attacked his body, and he suffered a stroke. There was no indication of poison, as the victim’s mouth was shut and there was no vomiting before or after death. After determining that the departed had confessed his sins and taken communion without any expression of doubt, he was to be buried without pealing of bells early in the morning in a corner of the cemetery at St. Martin. His heirs were ordered on 6 October 1618 to pay a fine of 500 florins.

He served as baptismal sponsor on 9 Jul 1614 for Johann Heinrich Mundtlein, on 22 Mar 1615 for [Heinrich] Most, on 12 Nov 1615 for [Heinrich] Wentzel, on 12 Jul 1616 for [Heinrich] Zehener, and on 26 May 1617 for [Heinrich] Flurer.
