Notes:
Linen weaver in Hespe Nr. 27. He was confirmed in 1751 from the Volksdorf school. He took over paying the property taxes and fees on the Hespe property in 1761. He served as a grenadier at the time of his marriage in 1768 and obtained the required consent to marry from his commanding officer Johann Friedrich Georg Wilhelm von Oheimb (*1735 ✝︎1818). He served as a witness to the marriage contract between Hans Ernst Niemann from Hespe and his sister Marie Lenore Spannuth on 1 Sep 1768, the date of his own marriage contract. He died of a chest ailment as a pensioner, having lived 15 years as a widower.

SP gives his marriage date as 17.10.1768. MERBCK death records give his name as Friedrich Christian Spannuth, really his eldest son's name. The date listed in his confirmation record is not his baptism date but presumably his birth date.
