Laborer and farmer in Oberhochstadt. His and his heirs' properties, 60 parcels in all, were auctioned off 30 Mar 1824 to pay off debts due Georg Friedrich Teutsch, wine dealer in Straßburg. A second auction was held on 4 Jan 1828, this time for a house and adjoining buildings and fifteen other parcels of farmland, meadows, vineyards, and a garden.
