Notes:
Teacher in Waldhambach and Waldrohrbach, resident in Waldhambach. The two villages had one school. Waldrohrbach wanted to have their own teacher, and didn't pay him for many years. He appealed the situation to the Amtmann Dollhofen in Arzheim in 1754, testifying that the Waldrohrbachers still owed him three Immels (about 5 quarts) of grain each and the village as a whole owed him three years of bell pay in kind (Glockengarben). The Waldrohrbachers admitted that such payments had been made in the past, but wanted to pay Meyerer only if he offered them additional services after they hired another teacher. Dollhofen decided that Waldrohrbach should pay Meyerer as they had in the past, and Waldrohrbach appealed. They were eventually required to pay Meyerer until 1771, when they received official permission to hire their own teacher.
