In 1639 he was likely a Heußler (lived in a hut with no large property) and had three cows and grew some rye. Another Harmen Rust, more likely a father by the same name, was a Groß Kötter in Altenhagen with one horse, one
cow, three hogs, and grew mostly rye and oats. There was also a Klein Kötter Albert Rust in Altenhagen, who had two horses, three cows, two hogs, and grew rye, wheat, and oats, and had a meadow.
